ハミングする櫛 THE HUMMING COMB

「末京」でメスの代わりに人工子宮で胎児を育てていた「ボク」は、ある日、古代遺跡から発見された櫛にインスピレーションを受け、メスのために美しい歌を歌う櫛を作ることを思いつく。男娼と偽って“きれいな髪のメス”から卵子を奪い、開発した発生プログラムと交配させ、歌う櫛を作る。その櫛で髪をといた美しい髪のメスは、死ぬまで髪をとき続ける。発生プログラムを手に入れたほかのメスたちも次々に歌う櫛を出産する。やがて地上からすべての人間が姿を消したとき、櫛たちは満月の夜、一斉に白い花を咲かせて地上を覆った。

Boku found myself working for females raising fetuses in artificial wombs. One day, inspired by a comb found at an ancient site, Boku came up with an idea to create a comb that carols beautiful songs for females. By mimicking a prostitute Boku snatched egg cells from a female with beautiful hair, placed them in the artificial wombs, fired up the program Boku developed for the creation of HUMMING COMB, and through generations of inbreeding weeded out all of its weaknesses. When Boku gave the resulted product back to its mother, she could not stop combing with it until she died. Then Boku made the rest of females pregnant with HUMMING COMBS, and eventually, all females and males have perished from the planet forever. On this full moon night, the surface of this now quiet planet is covered with COMBS blooming WHITE FLOWERS.
